NutriSystem For Men

NutriSystem is a weight loss program based on pre-packaged foods that are delivered. The program is ordered from the NutriSystem website and is delivered directly to customer's doors.

Why Men?

NutriSystem have been targeting a particular program (the NutriSystem Nourish Men's Program) directly at men. Until recently most marketing for weight loss programs has been directed at women. The men's program is an attempt to remove some of the 'stigma' associated with diet foods.

What's different about NutriSystem for Men?

Every program is made of 28 days worth of meals (breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and desserts).

The men's program differs from the typical plan by including higher amounts of food (eat 5 times per day) and higher amounts of protein. This is because most men have more muscle mass than women - leading to a higher BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate).

More food is required to prevent the body from thinking that it is starving.

As in the women's Nutrisystem program any combination of meals can be ordered.
